One of the largest firms is the British Shoe Corporation.This company employs over two and a half thousand people on this site alone.Worldwide it employs about thirty five thousand people. It is located within easy access to the M1 Motorway so that it can distribute about two million pairs of shoes each week from this huge warehouse complex.
